CALLING ALL CLIMBERS, ADVENTURE LOVERS, AND PARTY PEOPLE
Join us for the best and only climbing festival in Boulder and do good on top of it. Climbing is the common thread that connects us and brings us together and this festival is the perfect opportunity to celebrate in style with our community. With the money raised we’ll make sure that all of us can keep doing what we love most, climbing, by taking care of the Front Range crags and beyond.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Friday
- Kick-off party and art gallery night at the BCC house!
- Free beverages, beer, and food!
Saturday
- Shoe demos with Scarpa and La Sportiva
- Clinics presented by Denver Mountain Guiding, Golden Mountain Guides, and Alpine to the Max
- Boulder Canyon Climbing Comp
- Yoga session with Prana
-Stewardship-Flagstaff Mountain clean up from 8-11 AM
Evening Festivities at the Boulder Rock Club including:
- Ridiculously Fun Games, Prizes, Dance party & Shenanigans
- Silent Auction & Raffles
- Two Free Beverages (beer & NA options) presented by Upslope Brewing
- and back from last year, our bouncy house bungee run!

Climbing Competition
Not taking a clinic on Saturday? Join in the first annual Boulder Canyon Climbing Comp! This is not your new school gym comp; challenge yourself at the best cared for crags in the country.
This is an all-abilities team competition with lots of ways to win!

Refund Policy
The Backyard Climbing Festival is a fundraising event and weekend passes are non-refundable. You may transfer a clinic spot to another individual. To transfer, please email events@boulderclimbers.org. This event will be held rain or shine, and all clinics have a backup plan for inclement weather. Saturday evening's party at the BRC will be held regardless!
