Learn about avalanche danger assessment tools for Colorado’s renowned ice climbs. Watch a screening of Not Alone, an Arc'teryx film about the avalanche that inspired the founding of Climb Avy Aware. Participate in a silent auction benefiting CAA and their mission of empowering Colorado ice climbers through avalanche education.

Doors open at 6:30 pm, programming begins at 7 pm:

1. Climb Avy Aware Analyst, American Mountain Guide, IFMGA Mountain Guide, and AMGA Assistant Technical Director & National Instructor Team Member Joey Thompson will explain the tools to assess avalanche danger on some of Colorado’s most renowned ice climbs.

2. Climb Avy Aware Board member, ice climber and Rocky Mountain Rescue Member Sarah Koniewicz will entertain you and reinforce Joey’s lessons with ATES bingo.
