Building the Narrow Gauge Slabs: Stories from New Climbing Route Developers

  • Arc'Teryx RiNo 2601 Walnut Street Denver, CO, 80205 United States (map)

This spring, Josh Pollock, in conjunction with the BCC and Jefferson County Open Space started a project to develop a new crag and train aspiring route developers. Their efforts culminated in the creation of the Narrow Gauge Slabs, a new crag in the JCOS Park “Pine Valley Ranch” with routes bolted by members of Brown Girls Climb, Cruxing in Color, Escala, and Latinos Outdoors.

Join us at Arc’Teryx’s Rino location to hear the story of how this project came to be, and the experiences of some of the volunteers involved. Food and drinks will be available!
